Description

An amazing, rare reference letter from Enzo Ferrari for a veteran Ferrari mechanic. In Italian, signed “Ferrari,” on Ferrari Automobili letterhead, August 14, 1957. Letter to Francois Ferrario, in part (translated): “The bearer of this is the young Pedretti Alberto, who you certainly know because [he has] been my mechanic at the Modena workshop for years. At the end of August he finishes the motor specialization course at the Cecchignola Military Motorization School. His aspiration to be assigned to a workshop or military detachment, possibly in Emilia, is obvious and I therefore strongly recommend to your benevolent and authoritative interest.” The letter reads like new, in Fine condition, with bold bright Ferrari logo in early thermographic printing.
